What is EnkripsiPC Ransomware?

EnkripsiPC is a ransomware that was first seen in the wild in March 2019. This ransomware will encrypt your files and then demand a ransom be paid to decrypt them. EnkripsiPC will append the “.encrypted” extension to files, its encrypts. For example, a file named “sample.jpg” would become “sample.jpg.encrypted”. Once EnkripsiPC has encrypted your files, it will drop a ransom note named “ReadMe-Encrypted-Files.txt” in each folder that contains encrypted files. This ransom note will contain instructions on how to pay the ransom and decrypt your files. EnkripsiPC is currently being distributed through email attachments and malicious websites. It is important to note that EnkripsiPC is still under active development and may continue to evolve.
